Making a Vision Board is a great way of inspiring you on your life journey. I strongly recommend that if you are struggling with your business, your online marketing or your life direction in general, you create a Vision Board or Dream Board as they are commonly known.
What is a Vision Board?
Vision Boards are an amazing way of putting your goals down on paper, and helping you stay focused and controlled on your work. In short, a Vision Board is a powerful visual tool, used to create visual affirmations.
If you’ve read the Law Of Attraction, or The Secret, you will have found out that in order to acheive our dreams and goals and stay in control of our destiny, many successful people have created Vision Boards.
Making your Vision Board
There are Four Key Elements to making your vision board.
- Visual – Our minds develop and interact more readily on a subconscious level using pictures and images, so try to make your Vision Board as visually appealing as possible, using pictures, photographs, newspaper cuttings etc. To increase emotional repsonse, you can always use text as an image, for example important words with meanings that are special to you
Emotional –Every image, photograph or cutting should represent a positive emotional response from you. Whenever you look at your Vision Board, the images / text should stir up a supercharged, happy, even excitable emotion.
- Placement – You should position your Vision Board in a strategic place. It needs to be somewhere you will see it everyday, regularly! So, if you spend alot of time in the Kitchen, or Study, you know exactly where to place it!
- Personal – Most of all, your Vision Board needs to be personal to you. If you’re unsure of other peoples reactions to your vision board, then keep it somewhere private so you don’t encounter any negative feelings when you are looking at it. The fear of criticism from others will take away all the positive energy that flows, as a result of your board and you must protect it from this. Also, avoid copying other peoples boards, and keep them unique to your visions and goals.
Okay, so now you know the principles of your board, look out for part 2 of Vision Board Success!
